About the magazine

Welcome Home Magazine

Welcome Home Magazine is Kalamazoo’s local guide to inspired living, celebrating the homes, businesses, people, and places that make Southwest Michigan a great place to call home.

Each issue showcases beautiful homes alongside ideas and inspiration from local builders, remodelers, designers, and home professionals. But home is about more than where we live. Welcome Home also explores the restaurants, shops, entertainment, health and wellness, education, and local resources that shape life throughout the Kalamazoo area.

Written and produced locally by PA Stinger Press, Welcome Home Magazine is published quarterly and distributed throughout the places Southwest Michigan residents live, shop, dine, work, and gather.

Questions readers ask

Is Welcome Home Magazine free?

Yes. Welcome Home costs nothing to pick up at any of the 184 businesses and community spaces on our distribution list, from public libraries and hardware stores to cafes and clinics around Kalamazoo. Every issue since Spring 2022 is also online to read or download.

How often does Welcome Home come out?

Four times a year: Spring in March, Summer in June, Fall in September and Winter in December. Each issue is written and produced locally by PA Stinger Press, and the Fall 2026 issue is volume 34, number 3.

What does Welcome Home write about?

Homes first — local builds and remodels, with ideas from Kalamazoo builders, designers and home professionals. Then everything around them: restaurants, shops, entertainment, health and wellness, schools and local resources across Southwest Michigan. Fall 2026, for instance, runs a Galesburg lake house and Gull Lake Community Schools.

Who publishes Welcome Home Magazine?

PA Stinger Press, a Kalamazoo print shop, owns and publishes it, and also handles production, printing and mailing. Jessica Luepke is the editor. The magazine isn’t affiliated with any other publication or organization, and the same shop prints every copy on American-made paper before it goes out.
